This Day in Art History: February 17, 1913. One hundred years ago today, the International Exhibition of Modern Art opened to the public at the 69th Regiment Armory in New York. Now known simply as the Armory Show, it was one of the biggest shakeups the American art world had ever seen. We’ll be featuring materials from our sizable collections of Armory Show primary sources over the coming weeks.
